Not to long ago we came across a painter that really caught our attention. Not only for the beauty and style of his paintings, but also because he created these works on cardboard. That artist’s name is Tim Thomas. Now if you remember our story on Tim, which you can read HERE, he is much more than a painter. Besides painting, Tim, along with his wife Tina, are Central Florida filmmakers.
To us here at One92, Tim did something new that once again, caught our attention. Tim and Tina Thomas have recently completed their new short film together titled ‘Gabel‘, about a widow (Tina) who becomes obsessed and then possessed by a fork. Yes, the eating utensil.
A creative couple, a fork, an interesting film concept, and boom, a 14 minute short film is born. As silly as the concept may seem, the film is quite dark, lonely, paranoid and eventually bloody. And if that doesn’t peak your interest, Gabel was just recently selected to compete in the End Of Days Film Festival here in Orlando.
So check out Gabel below, but if your about to go eat spaghetti (with a fork), I would recommend watching this afterwards.
